Graphis 2023 Honorable Mention
Costa Verde is a tropical plane-themed hotel located in Costa Rica where people can rent real planes that have been turned into rooms. This project gained an honorable mention in the 2023 Graphis New Talent category.
This was a team project where I worked with other talented students who helped design this website. The people who worked on this are Stephanie Mylonas, Rylee Armstrong and Celestine Pileri. We had to redesign the hotel Costa Verde, improving its original form and depicting it in a more professional matter. As we’ve looked through the original website's content, we see that our biggest opportunity is to use the plane rooms as our main concept. Even though nature is also a huge part of the hotel, we believed that it should be balanced out with the planes being the center of attention. In this way, viewers would be more attracted to checking out the plane rooms with the help of plane-like themes.
