Nickelrama
Stationary Design/ Branding
Nickelrama is an arcade featuring older games that is located in Garland, Texas. What makes this arcade unique from the rest, is their continuation of using coins to play the games instead of an automatic card. This is what gives it its charm and authenticity, staying true to their concept.

For my company of choice, I decided to go with a childhood arcade I used to go to all the time. Their original logo could use some work and I thought it would be a great opportunity to do so. I had a lot of trouble trying to get this logo to be the way I imagined it. I redesigned this logo about 23 times with multiple different outcomes. At first it started with a regular illustration logo, but soon evolved into a logotype which brought the old arcade aesthetic back. I still kept the purple of the old logo, I just lightened it a little giving it a happier and childish tone since the arcade is targeted for children.
